How many pot lights do I need?

It depends on the room size and ceiling height. A general rule of thumb is to place 4-inch or 6-inch lights about 3 to 4 feet apart. We provide a custom layout design during our free consultation to ensure perfect, even coverage.

Will installing pot lights damage my ceiling?

We use specialized wire fishing techniques to route cables with minimal to no drywall damage. In most cases, the only holes made are the exact size of the pot lights themselves. If any small access holes are needed, we discuss this with you beforehand.

Do I need to upgrade my switches?

To get the best experience, we highly recommend upgrading to LED-compatible dimmers. Standard older switches can cause LED pot lights to flicker or hum. We can install high-quality dimmers or smart switches as part of the installation.

Are the lights insulated ceiling (IC) rated?

Yes. We exclusively use IC-rated fixtures when installing in top-floor ceilings or insulated areas. This ensures the lights can safely touch insulation without overheating, which is a strict ESA code requirement.
